Goal

  • As a monthly magazine, OFM didn't have enough content to maintain an active social media presence. It's Instagram engagement was low and the number of followers were dropping. 

  • My team created a social media strategy to gain more followers and increase OFM's daily engagement. 

#FreebieFriday

  • We created #FreebieFriday to interact more with followers. Every Friday, I posted a prize that followers could win. To win the prize, the follower had to like, comment, and tag a friend. 

  • Every Sunday I would announce the winner on Instagram.

Outcomes

  • Instagram Likes Increased by 79%

  • Comments Increased by 18%

  • Followers Increased by 194%
    Overall Engagement Increased by 15
